Hellions are an ARIA nominated, genre-melding rock outfit hailing from Sydney, Australia. Comprised of friends Anthony Caruso (Drums / Vocals), Dre Faivre (Vocals) and Josh Campiao (Guitar).
Hellions have found their genre defying, theatrical sound over a career which has seen them release four albums; “Die Young” (2014), “Indian Summer” (2015),“Opera Oblivia” (2016) and “Rue” (2018). They released their career defining third album “Opera Oblivia” in 2016. Since its release, Hellions scored triple j Feature Album, received a #4 ARIA album debut position and an ARIA Award nomination for Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal album.
In 2018, Hellions released the Single "X (Mwah) “, the track was added to high rotation on triple j and the hometown launch show sold out the iconic Lansdowne Hotel in 2 days. October 2018 saw the celebrated release of their fourth album “Rue” which landed at #23 on the ARIA Chart. The band took the album on the road to celebrate, which saw them play three sold out shows on the East Coast of Australia and be added to the UNIFY 2019 lineup by popular demand of fans. The second single ‘Smile’ was premiered on triple j Good Nights and later added to full rotation, which was followed up by a National headline tour in May 2019, playing to capacity crowds at celebrated venues like The Metro Theatre, Max Watts and The Triffid.
Hellions are known for a dynamic and energetic live show, they’ve toured Australia, the UK and Europe multiple times and have supported The Amity Affliction, You Me At Six, Northlane & Comeback Kid. They’ve performed at UNIFY, Yours & Owls, The Plot as well as 2000 Trees, Impericon and Slam Dunk Festival in the UK / Europe.
The band came into 2020 swinging, performing a blistering set in Sydney to launch a new era as a three piece, their upward trajectory is set to continue as the year rolls on and more tours, projects and music are announced.
