Rising Australian star Jack River is gearing up to take on the world in 2020 with her new Stranger Heart EP and extensive touring plans. The EP dropped Valentine’s Day & follows up her 2018 debut LP Sugar Mountain that features platinum single “Fool’s Gold” and earned 3 ARIA Nominations and an APRA Nomination. It also follows her 2019 single “Sugar” with Peking Duk that also earned an ARIA Nomination. More than just a successful musician, at 28 years of age Jack River’s Holly Rankin is emerging as one of Australia’s youngest festival promoters. In 2019 she partnered her company The Hopeless Utopian with Secret Sounds for her annual Grow Your Own Festival in her hometown of Forster – promoting local and sustainable culture, 2020 is its’ fourth year – and Electric Lady – a movement she co-founded in 2017 and has her curating all-women stages and festivals.
