Born out of the creative stagnation of the pandemic in 2021, Keli Holiday became Adam Hyde’s escape - a space for heartbreak, sonic exploration, and reinvention beyond the multi-platinum, ARIA Award-winning success of his other musical project, Peking Duk. Now, in 2025, Keli Holiday is gearing up to release his sophomore album — a bold, uninhibited statement on sex, love, rock ‘n’ roll, and everything in between.
Hyde explains, “This album feels like the first Keli Holiday offering that is true to who I am. It explores themes of longing for more, finding love in a crowded room, and the union of sex. I have spent the majority of my days since the birth of Keli Holiday focusing on what I want to say, how I want to say it, and what I want it to sound like.”
As anyone who has experienced a Keli Holiday live show will attest, a heaving, sweat-soaked room is where the Keli Holiday experience really comes alive. “The live show is where I really get my kicks as far as bringing the songs to life. I think people finding my music on the internet is cool, but there’s no better feeling than giving it to them face to face, sweat to sweat, cheek to cheek. It’s called a show for a reason. It’s my duty to put on a show and get them loose and sweaty.”
