‘hendle’ is trial’s groundbreaking multidisciplinary solo project, combining a memoir, an album, and a visual art series. Together, they tell a deeply personal story of resilience, cultural legacy, and identity—each medium amplifying the other to create a unique but universal story of truth.

hendle’ the album is raw and reflective. It explores family, identity, and survival through, at times, uncomfortable lyricism coupled with genre-defying production. Tracks like ‘…then I got dressed’ and ‘6 letter word’ tell stories of trauma and resilience, creating an emotional and universal journey.

hendle’ – the visual art series brings the memoir and album to life through a series of powerful, purposeful acrylic brush strokes. These paintings honour family, culture, and resilience, serving as visual extensions of trial’s multidisciplinary storytelling.
