Urthboy (Tim Levinson) is an award-winning hip hop artist from Sydney, Australia, who has just dropped a new single ‘The Night Took You’ unveiling a new sound that illuminates what’s ahead from Urthboys news project. As a member of hip hop group, The Herd for many years, Urthboy released his first solo album in 2004 and hasn’t slowed down since. He has received great acclaim both from a widespread audience as well as critically over the course of his career, with awards and nominations across ARIA, AIR, Rolling Stone, Triple J, as well as being nominated 3 times for the prestigious Australian Music Prize. In 2016 Urthboy’s fifth studio album, 'The Past Beats Inside Me Like A Second Heartbeat’ landed Feature Album on Triple J and debuting at #7 on the ARIA charts… his highest yet! With lead single ‘Long Loud Hours’ feat Bertie Blackman' in 3 years coming in at #33 in the Triple J Hottest 100. Spending the past couple of years re-imagining his sound, 'The Night Took You' flexes Urthboy’s ability to continually reinvent and produce music that hits hard. It's the first chapter from a new production team consisting of Sulo (The Herd) and I.AmSolo (OneFour, B Wise) 2020 is the year we welcome back Urthboy with a larger body of work on the horizon.
